Aventura Mall will be out with the food court and in with the food hall this winter.
The mall’s new Treats Food Hall is slated to open in the coming months, according to a press release. The food hall – featuring beloved restaurants like Shake Shack and Luke’s Lobster – will be on the third level of the mall’s 315,000 square foot expansion wing. The expansion wing will open in November 2017, a spokesperson said, although an opening date for the food hall is forthcoming.
Food halls are a burgeoning trend across the United States, as developers search to provide consumers with appealing, interesting and “buzzing” shopping experiences.
“Treats Food Hall will be highlighted by design aesthetics, attention to detail, and a carefully selected collection of eateries, each with its own style and unique approach,” said Jackie Soffer, owner and manager of Aventura Mall.
In addition to the aforementioned eateries, Aventura Mall’s new expansion will feature a Tap 42 Kitchen & Bar, CVI.CHE 105, Serafina, Pubbelly Sushi, Genuine Pizza, Blue Bottle, Joe & The Juice, Le Pain Quotidien, Rosetta Bakery and more.
